Ask a question

Not sure
what to book?

If you do not know which cut to pick, or you are bringing a wee one in for the first time, send this and we will tell you what to ask for. Sandy reads them between customers.

Or come in

Nobody minds
you not knowing.

Half the shop cannot name what they get and it has never once been a problem. Bring a photo, point at the grade scale on the wall, or say "same as last time" and we will remember.

If it is a first haircut for a child, say so when you send this. Rhona does most of those and will book you into a quiet hour.

We only use this to answer you. No lists, no third parties.

What we do with what you send

Sandy Duthie, trading as Duthie's Barbers, 14 Millburn Wynd, Stonehaven AB39 9ZZ, is the data controller for anything sent through the booking form or the question form. We collect your name, phone number, chosen cut and time for one purpose: to arrange your appointment and to text you if anything changes. That is a legitimate interest under UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f), and a contractual necessity once you have a chair booked.

Appointment records are kept for twelve months so we can see when you were last in and what you had. Questions that do not become appointments are deleted after twelve months. We do not sell your details, add you to a mailing list, or pass them to anybody else.

You can ask to see, correct or delete what we hold — email sandy@duthiesbarbers.co.uk. If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.
